Tante Andrée

Celica says:

When my slaves go away for awhile and they can't take me with them, I get to go and visit "Tante Andrée." She loves me a lot.

I love her too.

She lets me do lots of stuff - like play in her sink.

First big snow

Today was the first big snow fall of the year. Celica REALLY wanted to go out, so we let her have her way.

Don't we always???

Hmmm, there are birds taking shelter on the wood pile. Maybe they should find somewhere else.

Maybe there are some birds over there....Better check it out.

Celica asks: Does the snow look pretty on my fur?

Fall and fur

Celica says:

I think my fur looks exceptional in the fallen leaves, if I DO say so myself!

The Deck

Celica says:

The slaves were stressing out over something called "the deck" all summer at the cottage. One day in May a big truck arrived and the man unloaded a bunch of boxes and stuff.

Then other men came with diggers and things and they dug big holes at the front of the cottage. They put in big posts and cement blocks and then they came back and filled all the sand again.

After that they built a frame out of wood and then they attached the stuff that came in the boxes. It took ALL SUMMER, but at last they had something they call THE DECK.

You can see that I enjoy it too.

Chairs

Celica says:

Here at the cottage I have a few chairs that I sleep in. The slaves keep them just for me.

But I notice that the Lady Slave vacuums them quite a bit. Why is that????

Things to do at the cottage

Celica says:

Well, they won't let me out by myself, so I have to be content to just watch things from the door.

Or the window....
But sometimes it's just too hot, so I relax like this....

Strange creatures

Celica says:
Here at the cottage there are lots of strange creatures I don't see in the city. One day the slaves took me out to see this one. They said it's a turtle. It came to lay eggs in the gravel driveway. Eggs??? It's not even a bird! I told you, strange....
